One of the defining characteristics of the church is that we worship together. We come as individuals, many of whom are different than ourself and hold opinions different than our own, and celebrate what we have in common. We hear scripture passages, say prayers, hear a moment of teaching (called a sermon or a homily), and we share the bread and the wine – recalling the meal Jesus shared with his friends on the night before he died (this is called The Eucharist, or Communion).

Regular Services

8:00 am

Quiet, Said Service of Communion using traditional language from the Book of Common Prayer.

10:00 am

A Service of Communion, with hymns and music and more modern language from the Book of Alternative Services

Special Services

Cemetery Services

Sitting right on Main Street in the former village of Port Dalhousie, this historic cemetery has served the community for almost 200 years. Our original wooden framed church built in 1841 sat on this land which was donated by Captain Read. As you walk among the historic gravestones, see the names of many well-known families who played a role in the history of Port Dalhousie.

Our experienced Cemetery Board members have been recognized for the professionalism and excellent maintenance of this highly visible wrought iron style fenced cemetery which serves not only congregation members but the whole community.
